Below is a list of all the Aandhimul Project's current programmes, those which have funding and are currently commencing, and also those programmes which are currently running but need future funding or are in planning and research stage and need funding.
Without the help of many people, either individual's donations, companies/organisations sponsorship, or government grants, these programmes would not be achievable and progress within the community would not be possible. So we from The Aandhimul Project and the village itself would like to thank such generous donators, Dhanyabad!

COMMUNITY
Community Strength Building
& Support
It is and has been are priority to focus on building confidence and responsibility from within the community, spending time to understand how we can help, and asking them what they need. This will continue to be our approach until we have no need to remain in the village as they can sustain themselves.

SCHOOL
Support - Lunch
(Khadja)
For the school's children we want to provide a hot, and nutritional meal that will give them the energy for school, and be a subistitute for the poor nutrition at home. It is also our goal to educate and support the families so that they also can contribute to the balanced diet. For 60 children aged 3-12 years old.

WATER
Phase I
Water to school
One of the most important issues put forward by the Aandhimul community is the easy access to water, in particular the school. It is the first priority to build an infrastructure to cater for the school, to improve levels of sanitation and drinking water.

HEALTH & SANITATION
Awareness Day
From our study within the community, we noticed one of the biggest causes of illness was due to unclean water and bad sanitation. The first priority is to put on a programme that will inform as many members of the community about how they can improve their sanitation, using nurses presenting in the form of a drama.

General Health Checks with Doctor
The plan is to take as many people from the village (those who put their name down) to the nearest town's hospital and give them a general health check-up. If some need further treatment we will create specific programmes to cover this, and to possibly raise the funding required.

SCHOOL
Conversion to Community School
The school just as a government school has been failing to provide adequate education to the children of Aandhimul. Our research has shown that if we can convert it into a Community School, the village can have more control, along with the project to ensure the level of teaching is high, and the curriculum is right.

SCHOOL
Funrniture / Teaching Materials
School Books
Stationary etc...
To continue to keep the teacher's and children stimulated we need to raise money to buy/make new furniture, teaching resources, books and learning games/aids. The plan is to get fundraising by linking with a school in Australia, and doing a cultural exchange too.
