Below is a list of all the Aandhimul Project's future programmes, those which we are trying to raise money, and to also obtain and find help for. They are programmes that have been developed through community feedback and Project Coordinator's observations, things that are felt necessary for the progress of the village. WATER Improvements North of Village & School Phase 1
The North of the village where the school is, currently has limited access to water. This is the villagers biggest issue right now so a detailed programme is needed . Which includes laying new pipes, creating new taps, building a few storage tanks and a much need electric pump to take water up to the school.

WATER Improvements South of Village Phase 1
The South of the village has a different source to the North, therefore needs to be treated as a seperate programme. A detailed survey needs to be carried out and old pipe lines fixed, and taps repaired and new pipes laid out and taps built.

Communal Washing/Toilet Facility Phase 1
There are only 3 toilets being used in the village of 250 people, there are others that are not being used due to insufficient water for cleaning. So it is our aim to build a concept facility of 2 taps, a toilet, and shower room together as a unit. We first want to trial this in the South of the village, then build more after.

New Lunch
Phase 2 – Growing Vegetables
The first phase was to introduce a new and nutritional lunch for the children. To take this one step further, one of the villagers will hopefully part/fully donate some of his land beneath the school and we wish to grow vegetables there for the children's lunch. The children can also get involved, and even the excess could be sold. The starting costs need to be covered and then a wage paid for a villager to grow and maintain the land.

Teacher Training
With some experienced local district teachers in Montesorri and Primary Level teaching, plus the aid of an NGO based in Kathmandu, we are going to create a series of workshops for the teachers at the school. The sole purpose to increase the standard of teaching and enthuaism in the children to learn.

Building 2 was built with the help of the Sunrise Foundation, Kathmandu, 7 years ago. Due to increases child numbers and the desire to have a library and computers, to help improve education, a choice has been made to demolish the old building and build a new and larger one.

We need some funds to buy a good range of Nepali and English books to start a library in the new school building. Also, we have no problem collecting books and then when anyone travels to Nepal, they can take them with them. Remember the children are from Pre-school age up to the first 3 years of school.

Additional Pre-School in South of Village
With a growing population, especially under the age of 6. The community in the South of the village have asked for the project to consider creating a second pre-school in their area. We have considered this carefully and believe this could work if renovating an existing building, and adding power and furniture it could be used for teaching.
